ARE HAPPY CARDS REFUNDABLE?
Once a Happy Card has shipped, the card is not refundable. If the intended recipient does not receive their gift card, please contact support at 855-606-3494 or by going to our Contact Us  page and submitting a request.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON PURCHASING HAPPY CARDS?
No.

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
You can check the status of your order by using our Contact Us page in the footer section of the site or give us a call and we will help you with your inquiries.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
You can shop online at any time and pay by credit card.

DO HAPPY CARDS EVER EXPIRE?
The funds on your gift card never expire. The card will no longer work when the remaining value is equal to $0 or the “valid thru” date printed on the back of the gift card has passed. The 02/26 seen on the Physical Gift Cards indicate Month and Year. If funds still remain on the card after that date, please call 855-606-3494 or Contact Us to have a replacement card issued and mailed to you at no cost. The balance on the replacement card will be equal to the balance on the discontinued card.

WHAT IF MY PURCHASE IS MORE THAN THE VALUE AVAILABLE ON THE HAPPY  CARD?
If your purchase is larger than your balance, ask the cashier to swipe the gift card for the exact amount available on the card. Then pay the remaining balance with another form of payment. These are called “split transactions.” Some merchants do not allow cardholders to conduct split transactions. Some merchants will only allow you to do a split transaction if you pay the remaining amount in cash.

HOW DO I USE A HAPPY CARD?
These Gift cards give you the freedom to eat, shop or play at any of the merchants whose logos appear on the front of the card. Simply present your gift card for food, merchandise or services at time of payment. The amount of every purchase you make will automatically be deducted from the value on the gift card. You are free to use the same gift card across multiple brands.

CAN THESE GIFT CARDS BE USED ONLINE?
Online redemption may not be available for all merchants. To use a card at a Spafinder location, please follow the instructions on happycards.com/convert-to-spafinder-card.

CAN I USE A HAPPY CARD TO APPLY A TIP TO THE BILL?
No, a tip cannot be added to these gift cards.

CAN HAPPY CARDS BE USED TO PURCHASE GIFT CARDS?
No. In general, Happy Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THESE GIFT CARDS? YES, AS FOLLOWS:

  • Happy Cards are redeemable only at the brands located on the front of the card in the U.S.
  • Happy Cards cannot be used to purchase alcohol at The Cheesecake Factory locations.
  • Happy Beauty, Happy Teen and Happy Lady cards must be used at stand-alone Sephora locations and cannot be used at Sephora counters within JCPenney stores.
  • Happy Teen cards are not valid at any Barnes & Noble College location.
  • Happy Cards are not redeemable for cash.

DO HAPPY CARDS HAVE ANY FEES?
No, there are no fees.

CAN HAPPY CARDS BE RELOADED?
No, these gift cards are disposable and cannot be reloaded.

HOW ARE MERCHANDISE RETURNS PROCESSED?
Depending on the merchant, merchandise returns may be refunded directly back to your gift card, so be sure to keep it until you are sure you will not need it.

WHAT DELIVERY OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer delivery options ranging from USPS First Class Mail, UPS ground shipping to next day shipping. Freight charges will be quoted based on the size of the order and the delivery method selected.

HOW IS MY PHYSICAL HAPPY CARD PACKAGED AND DELIVERED?
Happy Cards can only be shipped to the shipping address provided at the time of purchase. They arrive in a single envelope or box (depending on order size) containing all of the cards that were ordered, along with a packaging list detailing the contents. 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHYSICAL HAPPY CARD ORDER?
Once payment is cleared (usually within minutes), it will take up to 3 business days to fulfill your order. Delivery timing is dependent upon the shipping method you select at checkout.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

WHAT DO I DO IF THE HAPPY CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?
Happy Cards generally cannot be replaced if they are lost or stolen. Please treat them as you would cash. However, if you believe your Card has been lost or stolen or an unauthorized transaction has been made using the information from your Card without your permission, contact Customer Service immediately by calling 855-606-3494.

CAN REFUNDS OR PARTIAL REFUNDS BE ISSUED FOR HAPPY CARDS?
Happy Cards are treated as cash and are therefore non-refundable.

HOW DO I DISPUTE A TRANSACTION?
Please email Contact Us with your name, phone number, and a short description of your dispute.
